ONCE INNOVATIONS SECURES PATENTS FOR LED LAMPS AND REUSABLE PACKAGING DESIGNS

PLYMOUTH, MN. February 23, 2011 – LED technology developer and lighting manufacturer, Once Innovations, Inc. (ONCE), has obtained U.S. Patents for a number of its products and unique packaging designs.

“This is a milestone in our continued growth and protects the significant investment we’ve made in both the general illumination and agricultural LED lighting segments. It’s also a testament to what we’ve accomplished in a relatively short period of time,” stated Craige Thompson, ONCE Chief Legal Officer.

ONCE received U.S. Patent protection on their AgriShift® PL poultry light as well as their PAR30 and GU10 general illumination lamps. They were also granted U.S. Patents on two of their reusable packaging designs. The company has a number of other U.S. and worldwide patents pending.

ONCE makes part of its IP portfolio accessible to companies under licensing agreements while manufacturing the AgriShift® brand of LED lamps and lighting systems for the poultry and livestock markets.
